With an open mind looking ahead, we ask ourselves which factors may most likely influence our target in the future.

Analyses as a supporting foundation

Analyses form the foundation for strategies, concepts and the development of measures. Experience has shown that this analytical foundation with its assumptions is not transparent and therefore difficult to verify, and that the findings derived from it are on shaky ground.

We see three central reasons for this:

  1. outdated and not verified or updated assumptions and cause-effect relationships
  2. focus on operational problems instead of solution-focused goal systems. And related to this:
  3. reactive, operational problem solving instead of proactive, strategic focus on impact.

To ensure that we have a solid foundation, we invest heavily in the analysis processes and incorporate interdisciplinary knowledge. We use proven scientific analysis methods to build on a good understanding of the relevant factors and their interrelationships as a foundation.
